For what projects/services did your company hire AYI GROUP, and what were your goals?
AYI Group was hired to develop the Vecino Digital Platform (VeDi) of the municipal government office, with the aim of having a unique repository of municipal applications, having an authentication scheme, sending electronic notifications and having a representation scheme for Web services.
How did you select AYI GROUP and what were the deciding factors?
AYI Group participated in a reverse electronic auction procedure and was awarded for the proposal made. The determining factors in the award was his experience in government projects and having participated in the development and optimization of a platform with similar characteristics in another public body.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
Stages of the project:
- Development of authentication scheme: from the Platform, other applications can authenticate with a single log in.
- Development of an automatic notification tool: the tool allows applications integrated to the Platform to use the automatic and massive electronic messaging scheme.
- Development of a representation tool: any application integrated to VeDi can use the representation scheme so that a user can assign the representation to another user so that it can operate on their behalf.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
6 people: project leader, architect, back end developer, front end developer, functional analyst, designer / layout designer.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
- 27 web applications were incorporated into the Digital Neighbor Platform.
- Platform publicly launched in Feb-2021.
- All employees using the platform.

The project management was carried out with the use of the Jira tool, through the use of email messages and from the use of video calling platforms.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Thanks to the assistance of the AYI Group team, the company successfully launched the platform. So far, as many as 27 web apps have been incorporated into it and it's being used by all of the office's staff. The office was most impressed by the team's ability to identify their needs and adapt.
