I’m an IT manager at an oil and energy company.
What challenges were you trying to address with TGV?
When I started working with the company in 2018, we had different service providers who helped us in updating and maintaining our management system which is a JD Edwards ERP. At the time, the company wanted to start working with a single service provider so we looked to switch to one company that could fulfill multiple business needs.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They solely focus on our ERP system, providing updates, and performing maintenance as necessary.
What is the team composition?
We work full time with two functional analysts, one based on logistics and the other on the financial side. We also have a pool of technical working hours which is split between various individuals who are working part-time on the project and a project manager.
How did you come to work with TGV?
They are really well-known among the companies specializing in JD Edwards. They have great references and a lot of experience dealing with this ERP. We've learned about them because of this and decided to invite them to participate in the tender.
How much have you invested in them?
We invest around $100,000 per year.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in May 2019 and the collaboration is ongoing.
How did TGV perform from a project management standpoint?
Their project management is great. We have a project manager who is very precise and diligent in ensuring that every deadline is met and the project progresses according to our standards. We have had a great deal of experience in this regard.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They were able to understand our needs very well and to set up a team capable of delivering effective service.
Are there any areas they could improve?
In Argentina, it is difficult to find and maintain staff trained in JD Edwards and on specific modules, so at times we have struggled with this, but they have always been waiting to do so and to take steps to mitigate the effect of this.

I’m an IT manager at an agricultural solutions company.
What challenges were you trying to address with TGV?
Based on our ERP, we often work with staff from agencies that we evaluate and know have a good knowledge of the technologies we use to support us.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They provided resources and staff augmentation services to work with us on our JD Edwards ERP.Â
What is the team composition?
We started with one person from their team, but then added someone to be in charge of the financial part, someone for manufacturing, and lastly, this year, we added an additional person for more financial support.
How did you come to work with TGV?
I usually participate in different groups of IT managers in the region and TGV was referred to me. I contacted them for an assessment and they assigned an account manager and showed a great disposition. I liked the CVs they provided and we managed to reach a good agreement.Â
How much have you invested in them?
We spend about $10,000 per month.

We started working with them in 2017 and we’re continuing our collaboration

We’ve had very positive results from working with them. The resources they’ve provided have great skills and are very efficient.

Since it’s a staffing project, we manage it ourselves internally.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their accompaniment on the commercial aspects of the work is most impressive. TGV is always staying updated on how the staff is developing and evolving. They’re always available to solve any issue that might come up.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I couldn’t think of anything to improve; they’ve satisfied all our needs.

I’m an IT manager at a sustainable agriculture machinery company.
What challenges were you trying to address with TGV?
We’ve been working with them for a while, and they’ve provided development support.
What was the scope of their involvement?
For our first collaboration with them in 2011, we migrated our system and needed resources to support us on this project. From then on, we’ve been working with them on other projects, such as a help desk and other specific developments.
What is the team composition?
The size of the team has changed over time.Â
How did you come to work with TGV?
They were already working with the company when I started working here, so I’m not completely sure how they came to work together.
However, I know the company has continued working with them for so long because they are great at understanding the reality of a company and are great at adapting their experience with other companies to fit the specific needs of each of them. Â
How much have you invested in them?
This year we have designated $5 million ARS (approximately $62,300 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
I’ve collaborated with them since mid-2015, but the engagement began in 2011.Â
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They are a great service provider. We trust their work and their commitment to our company is great.Â
How did TGV perform from a project management standpoint?
We used a tool to manage billable hours, although it depends on the project. Whenever we’ve had any delays, it’s been due to external circumstances or changes within the project. We also use Jira for project management.Â
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their relationship with our users and their professionalism stand out.Â
Are there any areas they could improve?
Though it’s specific, we need to work in multiple languages as a multinational company. Not all of the developers we’ve worked with can speak the language we need, like Portuguese, but we’ve been able to manage with Spanish and English.
